Janet's class is highly sought after for good reason. She is patient with and encouraging of her students, and is fantastic at steering actors toward the root of the scene, really getting down to the nuts and bolts. She makes the experience lots of fun, but is persistent in nudging a scene or a performance further if she senses some untapped potential, and therefore gets the most out of everyone. I'm a big fan of this class. Would recommend, if you can get a spot!

Janet is passionate about improving her student's acting as much as she is her own. She has more experience as an actor than any teacher I've worked with and it comes through while she is guiding us through our scenes and adjusting the choices we make.  I have felt my acting ability increase immensely after doing just one term with Janet and now feel that I'm am no longer acting but living as the person in the scene we are assigned.  It is such an honour to be a part of Janet's scene study class.

Janet is one of the most delightful and talented acting coaches that I have had the pleasure to work with. She truly cares about you and your work and it shows through her coaching. She is my first call when I have a big audition. She finds ways to make you feel calm even in the most stressful of times and uses her knowledge of the industry to make sure that you are walking away with a great tape everytime. Thank you Janet!
